... lol man , people like that wont stop to exist , will they .. ? about hacking , he is prolly hosting that page on either his own server or another webserver , so if he's got it on his own compy , hacking would link to hacking him which would resume in him being able to sue you prolly for entering his computer without permission , for the legal stuff again , you couldnt sue him since the scans most ppl use arent owned or created by them they just scanned those ... but did any of you really ask the real creator(mostly japanese ones) if you can use this or that picture for your own wallpaper ? I think not so theres the legal thing , you'd lose in the end ... only thing you can do is just tell no-ip.com [[Edit]] Just checked the page and found myself waiting quite a long time for each wallpaper - so thus I assume he keeps that ftp running on his own machine...

Using a tool like languard security scanner it is easy to see if the server has any vulnerabilities. But then again this is all pretty murky in legal issues. Could always send a cease and desist letter and make broad claims of copyright infringement. hehe probably wouldn't work but hey it might scare him enough to take it down.

As much as I hate to admit it, no matter where you go, stuff will be copied and burned and there is nothing many people can do around here. When copying scans and posting them here, it actually is borrowing an image without real copyrights permission. Besides, borrowing another image of something already borrowed is not necessary deemed directly illegal, as long as there are necessary precautions taking place and the numbers are enormous. And I have to admit, everyone here is at fault too. You have PC games and MP3s burnt off as well. If everyone had their own copyright symbols, it would be hard to track down the theiving culprit because it spreads like wildfire - there are too many who share stuff from sites just for the heck of it and to mass search all these people are a lost cause. Even though I hate to say it - it costs way too much money and most people give up by then. I rather put my mind aside and just write a complaint. Note that there are many other smaller sites that do the same - so legality issues, this is a no-win situation. Scaring people off is gonna make things worse unfortunately.

There's a couple of problems there : 1- say you hack his server and wipe it or screw it up that is legally punishable under the privacy laws. 2- unless you've actually gone and gotten a copyright that says all your work cannot be coppied there's no actuall copyright infringment. 3- The son of a b#*@h as actually taken all of these walls etc.In other words he's a game sob so he won't be scared easily. However i could be wrong, but i know there's not many lawyers game enough to take on a case as dodgy as this. So basically we're screwed legally as far as i know, But like i said i could be wrong.However there's always illegal ways that work.Provided ya know how to cover your digital tracks.

I second my notion, this site is... wow... okay - maybe I got this all figured out wrong, I though it was just a site on anime only - but they mass ripped everything from Boa N., Divine Ayu, Espellone, Digitalimagery, Digitalfireworks, Veronica, and even MT... This site just mass ripped everything I ever came across with and its for the public to download off of... I looked up the site and so far it's very nice, but its not a very neat picture. This person will have a hard road ahead when someone stamps a legal case against this zdenek person, who I did come across with a long time ago before I even came to MT. Wow...

No matter what, no form of "legal action" can be taken from the point of him ripping walls. This is because technically every waller rips pictures from stock images to use on their walls. Now it may not be major, and not a lot of people care, but it IS bad and can be used as a countersuit-- and I don't think every waller here wants to be sued for walling do they? The most you can actually get him for is improper use of his internet connection and maybe maluse of other people's properties...because the background is ours-- but that ties in with the anime thing. So yeah, Zde's a bitch that got banned because he was, well... a bitch. For the most part, I see no problem with it because: Zde was lazy enough to leave people's sigs on there, so it's like free promo's for people's sites.

That f$*(% ripped my wallpapers also! errr this goes to show that I was right from the start...this guy was a down right loser that had no clue what the hell he was talking about, doing, or even was here for the right reason. No, he was here for all the wrong reasons and now he's stealing people's walls, putting them up on a crap site that is sooooo god damn slow it not even funny and for that matter didn't ask one god damn person here or he ripped them walls from if he could display them. Even though he left all copyrights on people's wallpapers, doesn't mean that he had the right to take them. Maybe for some of us we didn't want our wallpapers to be displayed on a crap site or a site at all. If someone can find what service for the net he is going through, could get a hold of them and say,"Hey look, this users had stolen and displayed work of mine that he did not ask to display." and boom take his ass down. Anyone know how to find the ip? track that and it will tell you what service he's using.

Seriously, I was thinking that if you are going to post something like this, they are going to get "ripped" like what you guys been trying to avoid. I guess alot of you guys "including myself" takes alot of pride in our efforts making them "especially after spending hours or even days on them" but lets face it, if the image is going to be out in public like so, they are most likely going to get "rip". its a problem thats beyond control, just like d/l mp3s and d/l anime, movies, tv shows in genreal, we are the makers and there are the ones who is keeping it "ripped" or "public / free". i would suggest having the author of those works e-mail those sob who ripped their image and ask to take them off, but other than that, theres really little anyone of us can do unless you are going to bring out the lawyers.. lol.. xd i guess is still fine if you still have like your name / website on the wall, but they even edit those thing out... or worst, put their name on it and clain they made it! ... After scrolling thru pages of slow loading stoalen walls, I'm pretty impressed and disgusted at the same time. He's mangaed to rip so many walls, from so mnay different places. And all on this tiny boradband connection. So far I think most pople would be angrym including me to have their walls being taken and posts on site without their permission. Even if we hacked his site, what good would it do? Someone would have to hack his computer and delete his hard drive to get rid of all the wallpapers he's stolen. And yes he is running through no-ip.com just found that out by signing up myself and finding that same url on the site. Sooooo people write to no-ip.com and have him banned from there. man, i think i speak up for the peeps here when i say.... Whatcha talkin' about? The wallpapers made for MT are made solely for MT, all of the members joining this community knows that. And i don't think people submits high-quality gallery items, just to see it being used by someone else on their own site without even the slightest notification to the artist. i checked out the site of course... and the person responsible for that site didn't even give credit to the artist, or at least supplied a source and link to the artist yeah? No he didn't. So that dude or babe or whatever are responsible for such fraudulent behavior. yeah sure, of course we use stock images to build our walls, but the finished result is still our own work and is still the final image to be counted. Besides, if that "ripper" accuses the members of MT for using stock images in our own works, then it damn sure won't be an advantage for the imposter, because... well, check it out.... 1. we use stock images right? These stock images are made from other pro artists, but we're merging it with our own wallpapers. 2. the finished wallpaper are under the respective owners copyright policy, whether we're using stock images or not. 3. if someone else rips these works, then the wall still belongs to it's respective owner, and the stock images still belongs to the pro artist. So to make it worse for the "ripper", he's not stealing one masterpiece, he's stealing two masterpieces.... both the stock images and the finished wall itself. 4. so if you get what i said, he ain't got much to say, unless he were permitted to use the masterpieces of disasterpieces, and i believe he wasn't. So he's pretty much pawned. ^_^ *bows and hears the audience clapping and wowing!!* thank you, thank you smiley haha.... i'll be here on monday and wednesday nights! Hm. I doubt there are too many things that you can do, because if you look at the anime things you create (ie: anime wallpapers, anime banners, etc.) you have taken these images from the anime creators. I personally do not think that it is legal, but then agian, we can do what we want, because we are not making any profit off of it. The people that actually drew the manga/anime probably aren't screaming their guts out that some loonie online graphic artists are around stealing their artwork. It is unfair that your wallpapers get ripped off, but as you can probably see, his morals are not quite the same as ours...or muchof anyone's, as a matter of fact. x.x I can kind of understand his reasoning, though I am not him, so I really can't fully... But let him do whatever he wants. He doesn't think that it is wrong, so it won't do you any good to do much to him right now. He'll just go on another 'revenge' streak. And not to mention, obviously, this person has other access to this site. So denying of his IP wont' do too much.

Its Zdenek, this action doesn't shock me considering its the guy that said he'd be playing the Army Game. To be honest I also think hes well versed with matters of hacking as well. If not hes a very experienced man nonetheless which I honestly don't think you're gonna really reach by words. Hes just gonna keep doing what he wants. Its how hes always been. Its how he was when he was here and he'll probably remain that way until he dies. Unless you can provide some form of illegal action hes doing and actually be able to file it, I really don't see anything MT can do about it. Expect watch him do it. Unless you can take action yourself. I wouldn't recommend hacking him...he knows how to defend himself so unless you're a professional...I wouldn't try...Just an estimate judging from his site (hes defended it many times before from what hes wrote).

Hey he' s got mine wallpapers that I made for gamebabes.de in 2000 or smthing!!! Woooa!!! Well actually the only thing he does is to redirect his hard drive using a DNS protocol, probably unix2 or 4. That is pretty low, but at the very least, s/he did mention the original site...I can sorta understand where s/he's coming from. As a new member, I'd love to d/l scans and fanart, but this restriction by user level bans it. S/he's prolly just letting others get things like this without having the user spend years here building up enough of a rank to do a simple thing as d/l a picture...which is seriously making me not want to add my fanart to this site. I can upload it all, yet I wouldn't be allowed to see my own fanart? It just seems a tad odd to me.... There's reason in all, you just must seek it out. :/
